Classrooms as Sacred Space: Structures for Holistic Teaching and Learning Practices in Higher Education

چکیده
This article explores the notion of classroom as a sacred space, through lenses Indigeneity and Waldorf-inspired practices to examine ways pedagogical create spaces for learning holistic well-being. Using series qualitative ethnographic studies highlighting courses at higher education institutions in Arizona Minnesota, this examines student reflections on experiences within curricula. Student responses point conceptions course “rituals” that fostered emotional mental wellness contrasted these “real world” did opposite. The concludes with structures implications teaching learning.
